Trust your gut. It always knows the answer. I will add though that to really know who someone is you’ll have to meet them in person. I’ve chatted with guys through a dating app and they seemed great only to meet them and find out they’re full of sarcasm or not nice to the waitress. Give the online chat some time for sure but ultimately you’ll have to meet to really know.
