The Universe Keeps Sending Me Good Men

I believe the Universe is benevolent.

Scratch that. I know the Universe is benevolent. Here’s why.

For the past few years, I’ve been asking the Universe to bring a good man into my life. From what I’ve read about how the Universe works, I must first make my request known. Then, I need to put myself out there and trust that the Universe wants to fill my request. I also need to remain open to what It sends my way.

So I stated my request.

Dear Universe, please send a good man my way.

Then I put myself out there. I hopped on dating sites, joined MeetUp groups, and hung out in art galleries and breweries. I’ve put myself in many different kinds of places and participated in activities I enjoy. I’ve met lots of men, but unfortunately, I haven’t yet bumped into one I’d like to date or who wants to date me.

I’ll admit that after all this effort I began to have my doubts. But I kept asking — almost daily — because I want to believe and trust that the Universe is benevolent.
