Thank you so much for sharing your story. I completely get where you are. Like you I desperately wanted to talk to someone who understood. But it’s such a hard subject because like you said so many people offer advice telling us to just stop. That he’ll never leave his wife.

Often we may feel on some level those words may be true, but when the heart’s involved ending it is easier said than done. It can become so tangled and complicated.

And I strongly feel there are so many good things I learned about myself, what I need and about relationships in general through my affair. I saw value in it even though many people frown upon what I did.
