Thank you, Liberty. I realize now one of the errors I made in my marriage was not holding him accountable. Not sure if that’s the right word? He told me early in our marriage that he didn’t want to be nagged and so I leaned far too much on patience instead of putting my foot down when I should have. There’s a difference between nagging and needing help. I see that now. Lesson learned!
