Omg. This happened to me last year when I went to see a new doctor. I told her I wanted to have an STD test because I’d been with someone I didn’t know well. Things went quicker than I’d anticipated and we were unprepared. I wanted to know where I stood before I was with anyone else. She shamed me for my behavior. I wish now I would have confronted her and left the office before she tested me. I mean seriously. I’m doing the responsible thing now, right? And like you, I tested negative. I know I dodged a bullet but still. Wtf.
