Making Pumpkin Spice Sex a Priority

It became clear early on that my new date had a thing for pumpkin spice.

We met at a local coffee shop and I ordered my usual chai latte. He gave me a sideways glance and said, “Don’t you want the pumpkin spice version? It is pumpkin spice season you know.”

Aside from actual pumpkin pie, I’ve never been a fan of pumpkin spice-flavored things, so I declined. I stuck with my regular old chai.

“Suit yourself,” he said, then proceeded to order a grande pumpkin spice latte with pumpkin spice-flavored whip cream and orange pumpkin spice sprinkles.

It was a monstrous amber-colored concoction.

We sat at a table and he went on in detail to tell me about his love of pumpkin spice. I’ve been on a number of first dates where the guy wouldn’t stop talking, but this guy was an original. He took the proverbial pumpkin spice cake.

“I adore pumpkin spice,” he exclaimed. “The warming aroma of cinnamon and ginger. The subtle hints of clove and nutmeg. The flavors feel like a comfy hug. There’s nothing like it.”

I’d never met someone so crazy about pumpkin spice.

He remarked that when the leaves begin to change from green to orange, he makes it a priority to add pumpkin…
