I'm a Medium fangal (fangirl?) so I give them the benefit of the doubt too. This platform has helped me grow as a writer and connected me to so many people. I'm forever grateful that Medium provided a space for both to happen.

Yes, it's great to get paid. When earnings tank it can be frustrating, but I get more bummed when a good story gets so few reads. I write to get eyeballs on my stories too and when that doesn't happen it does bum me out at times.
