I think detachment is helpful whether we live one life or many. I always thought detachment had more to do with not letting our emotions get the best of us and accepting what is. Clinging to the way I want something to be is what causes me pain. It helps in the here and now not just in a future life to accept the way my life looks. Not that I can’t try to make changes. Acceptance doesn’t imply that I can’t act on something. My 2 cents. :)
