I know when my divorce was finalized I rushed into dating. I felt like time was ticking and I wanted to experience what I didn’t have in my marriage as soon as possible. This caused me to enter into the dating pool feeling desperate and jumping into situations far too quickly. Not good. I’m learning now to take my time and allow things to unfold, and as you say here to listen with discernment.
