I has something very similar happen which was part of a trio of things that caused me to leave my marriage. I didn't end up marrying the man though. So many synchronistic events pointed me in his direction that if I relayed them all I don't think people would believe me. For quite some time I felt a telepathic connection to him too, but over the years it has faded.
