I completely agree. The problem is that both people need to be committed to making it work. To bend, adapt and grow. This has to be a mutual thing. You’re either leaning into each other or drifting apart. Leaning in must be a conscious choice both people make. When one does and the other doesn’t there’s no support. You topple over. And you feel alone. I tried for 25 years to make mine work. It wasn’t a “not working at the moment” thing.
