Hi Michelle. From your message and reading your writing, I completely get where you're at. Leaving is scary and by far the hardest thing I've ever done. That's partially why I put if off for so long. I didn't want this for myself yet my when my mind slides into thoughts of being back at that home with him, I shudder inside. Leaving was the best option for me, but it may not be for everyone. Each situation is unique.
