Hi Laura, To be clear, I don't believe either of our spouses deserved the affair. Maybe my writing missed the mark with that. My intention was to highlight that sometimes people are so starving for love and affection that they do things they wouldn't to otherwise. My affair wasn't right, yet it put me on the path to doing the right thing for me. Hope that makes sense.
