Geez! That's crazy. You're exactly right--they're missing the full experience of the show and the energy of the crowd.

I also notice people do this with sunsets. I know I used to try to capture one on my phone and it never looks as good as the real thing. So I stopped trying to capture it and instead just enjoy it while it's happening.
