Elan, I can't begin to tell you how much I needed to read your words today. I made a mistake last night and now I'm feeling disappointed in myself. It's hard to accept that at age 54 the same damn lessons keep coming up for me. That "when will I get this right?" feeling crops up. Your words are a good reminder that we can both love ourselves and also want to do better--to hold that both sides can be true. Thank you, thank you for this reminder.
