Ack. I'd rather not have anyone revisit my story. It's a departure from the stuff I usually write and a path I wish I hadn't taken. But since it's a part of Smillew's 100-word project, I don't feel like I can alter it.

I do appreciate constructive criticism though. I'm not offended by your comment on my story. It was accurate. I'm just cringing a bit inside to have this one resurface and preparing myself for the blow.
