5 Life Lessons We Can Learn From Sequoias

Recently, I learned an interesting fact about Sequoia trees. Their bark is fire-resistant. Fascinating, right? Super handy trait to have when it comes to those pesky and destructive forest fires. Sometimes a tree will show large scars from fires but still grow to become massive in size.
When I heard this, I wanted to learn more. My curiosity took over and I started googling. As I read more interesting facts about Sequoias, I noticed several traits that are good life lessons for us humans to learn.
They’re resilient
As I mentioned, many Sequoias bear scars from fires. These markings indicate their ability to withstand a major event that could’ve taken them down but didn’t. Their scars and subsequent growth demonstrate their resiliency.
